Photography is a key that unlocks unique perspectives for Oskar Da Riz. His works reflect his search for authenticity, and his strength rests on his particular ability to perfectly visualize everything that lies within his fields of interest, from architecture to still lifes, and to people. Born and raised in Brixen, Italy, Da Riz knew early on that he wished to dedicate himself exclusively to photography and, after completing his studies, took master classes in photography at the Graphic Arts Technical Institute (HGBLVA) in Vienna. Here he had the opportunity to assist various renowned photographers, while experimenting and perfecting his own skills and took his first steps as a freelance architectural photographer, which would become one of his greatest passions. While devoting himself to advertising photography at the large-capacity Rhomberg photography studio, Da Riz began expanding his repertoire by working primarily for extremely demanding Swiss customers. His varied background and valuable experience gained during his years of study and travel made it possible for him to open his own studio in Frankfurt am Main, Germany. After many successful years of working with international clients (Deutsche Vermögensberatung, Bosch, Deutsche Bahn AG, DASA Deutsche Aerospace, etc.) Da Riz returned to South Tyrol and transferred his studio to Italy, where the photographic emphasis is on conceptual advertising photography for brand communication and architecture. His clients include internationally active local businesses, such as Thun, Finstral, Leitner, Stahlbau Pichler, Frener&Reifer, ewo, and perhaps even your business. Works by Da Riz have appeared in numerous exhibitions, for example, at the Künstlerhaus in Vienna, and been awarded various prizes (Bad Ischl photography days, Polaroid Prize/Vienna, Broccia d’Or).
